The Tareekh E Islam book ( تاریخ اسلام بک ) is an Urdu history book written by Maulana Akbar Shah Najeebabadi on Islamic History. The book is considered the most authentic work in Urdu Islamic literature. In the Tareekh e Islam Urdu book, Maulana Akbar Shah Najeebabadi explains the history of Islam. The author of the book is a prominent authority on Islam and history. He has in-depth knowledge of the history of Islam and the other world.
It is not necessary for the name of Maulana Akbar Shah Khan Najibabadi (اکبر شاہ نجیب آبادی) to be introduced as his “History of Islam” must have been written during a similar period from the time at which it was written until today. Maulana said that knowledge and literature are part of the present generation who are unaware of the value of history writing and the services rendered by the Maulana.

Tareekh e Islam book contains information about the early days of Islam. In this book, the author examines the Prophet’s life, the Caliph’s tenure, and the Ummah and Abbasid eras from a historical perspective. Analyzing it, he wrote a brief note on it.
Maulana Akbar Shah Khan Najibabadi’s history of Islam is viewed with respect. This history consists of three volumes. The first volume deals with the events of the era of Khilafah Rashida from the beginning of Islam. And the second volume begins with the Umayyad era and ends with the Khilafah of Bani Abbas (Egypt). The third volume contains detailed accounts of all Muslim governments from Umayyad Andalusia to Kharazm Shahi.
